Last term our topic was the Egyptians! We thoroughly enjoyed this topic and learnt so much. We did some Egyptian cooking, designed our own Tutankhamun mask, wrote in Hieroglyphics and learnt all about Mummification. We had a sensory Mummification lesson where we explored what happened to the body after death. It was pretty gruesome! We then had a visit from a lady from Hertford Museum who completed an Egyptian workshop for us.
In cooking each week the children continue to practice their cooking skills and have enjoyed making foods linked with our Egyptian topic.
We also did a lot of learning outside, we love being in the woods and having adventures!
