This term, we have been learning all about ‘Creatures Big and Small’. We have had fun learning about different animals living in different places. We’ve looked at animals that live in oceans, jungles, forests, rivers and farms. We’ve even learnt about animals that live in very cold places like Antarctica.

On some of our offsite visits, we have got to see different animals. At Cedars Park we had an animal and plant hunt and at Wildwoods garden centre we got to see lots of different fish.

We also enjoyed looking after Flossy, our school rabbit. All of the children helped prepare her cage with newspaper as well as giving her food and water. They all loved stroking her too!

What an amazing first term Robins have had!! Each and every one of you has settled into Middleton beautifully and has made amazing progress over the term. Robins have loved learning about Hot and Cold this term and particularly enjoyed their visit from the firefighters.

We have also loved all of our visits to Santa, we were very lucky to see him twice this year!! Once at Tyndall’s Grotto and once at school!

We would also like to say how proud we are of all the children for how well they sang and performed during our Christmas Performance. A very successful first term – Well Done Robins!!

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
